He was an independent Director on the Boards of TVS Supply Chain Solutions, Sundaram Fasteners, TVS Sri Chakra Tyres, Delphi TVS and Aparajitha Corporate Services.
In 1985, he received a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He earned his doctoral degree from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst in 1994 for his work on exchange rate behaviour.

Eric Broussard has been Vice President, International Seller Services since August 2012. In this role, based in Seattle, WA, he leads Amazon’s International Marketplace businesses in Europe, Japan, China, Southeast Asia, Latin America and Australia, as well as Amazon Global Selling initiatives worldwide.
Prior to that, Broussard was Vice President, Amazon Services Europe for eight years,where he led development and implementation of Amazon Seller Services strategy in Europe and Japan. Amazon Services Europe offers eCommerce solutions for retailers who want to leverage the technical platform, operational capabilities, professional services and online retailing expertise of Amazon.com. Under Broussard’s leadership, Amazon Services Europe has become a leading Marketplace for hundreds of thousands of Sellers offering millions of products to customers in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Japan.
Before moving to Europe, Broussard was Amazon.com’s Vice President of Jewelry and Health & Personal Care based at Amazon’s headquarters in Seattle, Washington. Broussard drove the creation of these two businesses and managed all aspects of their expansion.
Prior to this role, Broussard served as Amazon.com’s Vice President of partnerships and was responsible for the company’s alliances with third parties like Toysrus.com, Circuit City, Borders.com and drugstore.com.
From 1999 to 2002, Broussard served as Vice President of the Home group at Amazon.com, managing the Kitchen, Tools & Hardware and Outdoor Living businesses. Broussard also managed Amazon.com’s launch into the UK and German markets, drove the integration of Amazon.com’s acquisition of PlanetAll and was instrumental in establishing Amazon.com’s partnership with drugstore.com.
Prior to joining Amazon.com in 1998, Broussard was director of international Web business for Netscape Communications. There he developed marketing and sales strategies, negotiated contracts and managed public relations projects for Netscape’s European expansion activities. Prior to that, as a management consultant for Bain & Company, Broussard implemented corporate-wide strategies for Bain’s largest telecommunications client. Broussard’s experience also includes marketing positions and/or supervising projects at Cadence Design Systems and Valid Logic Systems.
Broussard holds an MBA from Stanford, a Master of Science in Information Systems from École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris and a Bachelor of Science degree from INSEEC in Paris.
Amit Agarwal, Global Senior Vice President and Country Head of Amazon India, is the man behind the staggering rise of the company surpassing all internal milestones in the Indian e-commerce market. Known for his customer obsession and outstanding business development skills, he envisages Amazon to be the most customer-centric company by transforming the e-commerce industry in India. Amit Agarwal, a native of Mumbai, obtained his B.Tech. Degree in Computer Science in 1995 from IIT Kanpur and further went on to complete his masters in the same discipline from Stanford University in 1997. He began his stint at Amazon in February 1999 in Seattle. At the time he joined Amazon, the company was only into bookselling and was interested in expanding its operations. In 2004, he moved to India to head AWS team as a managing director and oversaw the company’s expansion in the country. In 2007, he returned to Seattle and became a part of the Bezos’s much-coveted team of technical advisers prominently known as the Shadow Team. He served as a technical advisor for three years and then was promoted to be a VP International Expansion in 2009 and Vice President and Country Head, Amazon India in 2013.
Owing to his excellent track record and relentless endeavors to expand Amazon’s business in India, the company elevated him to the position of a global senior vice president in March 2017. Manish Tiwary manages the consumer business for Amazon in India. He is passionate about changing the way India buys and sells and has been driving the online transformation in India over the last three years. He assumed this responsibility in 2016 post a long and fruitful stint with Unilever.
Manish has close to 20 years of experience with Unilever in various sales, marketing and general management roles. Manish was part of the Unilever (India) Board with specific responsibility for Sales for South Asia. His last role was as the Managing Director for Unilever (Gulf) managing a cluster of 34 countries in North Africa and Middle East operating from Dubai.
Manish holds a Management degree from Indian Institute of Management (Bangalore) and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer science from BITS.
Mahendra Nerurkar heads Amazon Pay in India. Mahendra has worked at Amazon for 12 years across our Seller and Payments businesses. In these roles, he has worked with sellers and consumer problems worldwide. In this current role, he is focused on making payments trusted, convenient and rewarding for our consumers and merchants in India.
Raghava became the finance leader for IN Consumer in March 2014. Prior to joining Amazon, he spent 20 years with Unilever in India and International markets and in roles that span business finance, treasury, operations and buying. He was also Assistant to the CEO for Hindustan Unilever for India and South Asia, and his last role at Unilever was as Head of Treasury and M&A. His international experience comes from a role at the regional headquarter at Singapore, where he supported strategic finance for marketing and business teams in China, South East Asia, South Asia and Africa. Prior to that, he was Head of Finance for Kimberly-Clark Lever, a JV in India between Unilever and Kimberly-Clark Corp. He is a Computer Science Engineer from IIT Bombay and has an MBA from IIM Calcutta.

Puneet Chandok is the President, India and South Asia for Commercial Business at Amazon Internet Services Private Limited (AISPL). As the country MD and GM, his charter is to oversee and manage the incubation, planning, and demand for AWS Services from customers across industry segments, as well as build and lead customer-centric teams that help organisations innovate and transform using AWS services. At AWS, we work with customers to help retire their technical debt and drive innovation through our advanced services including Data and Analytics, AI/ML, and IoT.
Puneet joined AISPL in June 2019. Prior to joining AISPL, Puneet held leadership roles with McKinsey & Co. and IBM Global Services. As a Partner at McKinsey, Puneet built and led several practices, digital and technology capabilities across India and Asia. Puneet was also the Managing Partner for some of McKinsey’s highest growth offices in India. Chetan joined Amazon after an almost 7 year stint at Google. He comes with a wealth of public policy and business experience, working in some of the most demanding and challenging Indian corporate policy environments. During his time at Google, he built an exceptionally strong team, initiated many proactive partnerships with Central and State governments, and strategically re-positioned the company and its reputation in India across a diverse set of political and policy stakeholders, including at the very highest levels.
Prior to joining Google, Chetan was Director, Corporate affairs at Dell India for five years, and previously led Public Policy at Intel, including serving as the TA to the President of Intel. At Intel he won the Intel Achievement Award (IAA) – the company’s highest award. Less than 1% Intel employees win the coveted award. Chetan began his career as a journalist and has worked for some of India’s most renowned publications, including the Times of India, where he headed the newspaper’s technology bureau.
Abhijit leads the Global Selling Program in India. Amazon Global Selling currently has more than 70000 sellers selling worldwide on 17 international marketplaces to over 300 million customers. Prior to taking this role in November 2016, Abhijit was responsible for launching and heading Seller Flex and Amazon lending programs. Seller Flex is Amazon's flagship fulfillment program which allows sellers to sell their products on Amazon.in using the FBA service without moving items out of their own warehouse. Montek Singh Ahluwalia, an economist, and civil servant, was former Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission, Government of India. He joined the Government in 1979 as Economic Adviser in the Ministry of Finance, after which he held a series of positions including Special Secretary to the Prime Minister; Commerce Secretary; Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs; Finance Secretary in the Ministry of Finance; Member of the Planning Commission and Member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister. In 2001, he was appointed as the first Director of the newly created Independent Evaluation Office of the International Monetary Fund. Based in Delhi, Davneet Kaur is the founder of The Umbrella Store- a one stop portal for sustainable products. The brand offers consumers products like soywax candles, wheat fiber plates and more. Right from her school days, Davneet hoped to run a successful business, but was confused about how to start. It was during her first year of college that she began taking concrete steps towards a career in business. She did face setbacks though, with her first venture- an online thrift store that she started in 2017, not taking off the way she hoped. Soon after graduating college, Davneet joined a corporate job, working over 9 hours a day. She was tired and felt defeated by the routine of a corporate job.
This eventually led her to restart her journey, follow her passion and dreams to start her own business. The Umbrella Store was launched with just 3 products in its portfolio. Davneet began selling on Amazon and gradually built a range of products as part of her brand. Davneet continues to face challenges, most recently having to navigating the growth of her business during the pandemic. Dr Vibha Dhawan is the Director General of India’s premier research institution- The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and has been associated with TERI since 1985.
